Rain flows into the streams following the lay of the land. It can carry a host of pollutants as well as a great deal of sediment with it. In order to reduce the pollution caused by run-off, BlueLeaf offers an integrated run-off management plan that includes a series of proactive measures to reduce the phenomenon in both urban and agricultural areas. These measures all have the same basic principles in common: reduction at the source, filter and intercept the nutrients and sediments, as well as increasing the hydraulic dwell time by reducing the speed of the water flow..
The service also includes:

  • Preliminary report
  • Analysis of cost and efficiency
  • Application for the certificates of authorization
  • Interpretation of the results using industry recognized quality criteria
  • Follow-up and meetings with the organizations concerned
  • Final report
  • Public presentations (if required)

  •   Wind break hedges
  •   Microtopography
  •   Grass-lined waterways
  •   Interception gulleys
  •   Riparian strips
  •   Filter trenches
  •   Temporary sedimentation ponds
  •   Surface flow and sub-flow constructed wetlands
