The cyanobacteria and cyanotoxin monitoring service offered by BlueLeaf enables the tracking of the evolution of these bacteria in different locations on lakes, within a rapid response time. This preventative service is aimed at evaluating health risks linked to the presence of cyanobacteria and cyanotoxins. Sampling frequency and locations are determined in conjunction with our partners, taking into accountto recreo-touristic activities of the site, as well as various environmental parameters.
The study also includes the following:
- Preliminary report
- Cost and efficiency analysis
- Application for the certificates of authorization
- Interpretation of the results using industry recognized quality criteria
- Follow-up and meetings with organizations concerned
- Final report
- Public presentations (if required)
The study includes the following:
- Water quality monitoring
- Detection of cyanobacteria by fluorimetry
- Quantification of cyanotoxins by immunoassay (ELISA)
- Space-time causality of cyanobacteria in lakes using fluorimetry
- Communication and follow up with the government officials
